This website, BreastMD.info, was made to support a soon-to-be-released App for the iOS series of Apple’s mobile devices (iPhone, iPad, etc.). The App is entitled BreastMD and will soon appear in the Apple App Store. BreastMD contents have been under development for the past seven years and reviewed by a leading cancer institute in Houston and other pathology and molecular biology experts. The clinical data has continually been updated by a weekly review of new pertinent medical information as it becomes available.
The group that developed the new BreastMD App created this website BreastMD.info to showcase the most unique available or soon to be FDA-approved essential diagnostic and therapeutic techniques related to breast cancer.
Manuscript, abstract, and summary notes are uniquely linked to graphically displayed diagnostic or treatment algorithms. The unique graphic linking of text to algorithms appeals to those graphically inclined learners. The App continually updates with results of cutting-edge clinical trials presented at important oncology meetings.
The BreastMD.info website is a portal for patients, their loved ones, and physicians to openly discuss the pros and cons of the newest diagnostic technology, treatments, and latest drugs available for local minimal as well as more advanced breast cancer cases.
The most convenient way for users of the soon-to-be-released BreastMD App or for those just interested in or actively involved with essential treatment decisions is to use our timely Blog. Patients concerned about loved ones, and physicians may blog anonymously. Our editorial staff will review all responses.
We review current medical oncology literature and presentations at current oncology conferences and incorporate the most important and potentially practice-changing findings associated with superior outcomes for patients with breast cancer. We organize the new findings and distribute them to medical and radiation therapy oncologists as well as patients and family members. These findings are incorporated into our new Apple App and through this web site. We welcome questions and suggest where newest and most appropriate answers can be found. All involved will be better informed. If we don't have a good answer we promise to find one. The service is offered gratis. Give us a try. Glenn Tisman, M.D.

TNBC is itself a heterogeneous group. Therefore, the identification of molecular biomarkers to predict response to specific chemotherapy is required to further improve treatment strategies with the current menu of chemotherapy options and future combinations with targeted therapies.
